Saturday 21 March 2009 was one of the most memorable and joyous days since you have been with us, Ben. it was your baby shower organized by Dan and Jillian and helped by Christian and John. it was such a great surprise. i was so touched and overwhelmed that i almost cried as good friends we've met since we arrived in vancouver turned up. though we are so far away from home and family, we feel so much loved and supported. thank you everyone, especially Jillian and Dan, for making us, matthew and me, feel so special.
Dan, Jillian, Christian and John did a wonderful job, transforming the house to look very festive and entertaining everyone with their fun games.
Nappy changing game...very hilarious, indeed.
daddy had a go, too. though he didn't win, he was pretty good.
we took the privilege to open up your presents. you will be one well-equipped baby, sweetie.
you got more stuff than mummy and daddy already!!
You will get to meet these wonderful people very soon.
Matthew...thank you so much. you are the greatest husband, and i'm sure you will be the greatest dad too. i love you.
