Social/emotional development
- begins to speak with one vowel sound like 'da', 'ta', 'ja'
- shows displeasure with loss of a toy
- shows some stranger anxiety (it increased when we were in Thailand as he was constantly bombarded by lots and lots of admirers ((mummy's hundred cousins and friends))
- begins to imitate sounds
