Physical development
- Weight almost 10 kg
- Crawls properly when he's not thinking or when there's stuff on the floor. Finds it easier to do the army crawl.
- Pulls himself up from a sitting position.
- Not interested in walking. Tried the walker, but not so keen on it.
Social/Emotional/Language development
- Says 'dada' when he sees Matthew. No sign of 'mama' yet. (this isn't fair after all the hard work mama has done)
- Tries to communicate his needs by pointing at things he wants and says %$##^&(@
- Responds with appropriate actions to some sentences like 'Can you say bye bye?' (he'll wave), 'How big is the baby?' (he'll put both his arms up in the air), and 'Pat a cake' (he'll clap).
- Very talkative. The only time he's quiet is when he sleeps or eats or drinks.
- Knows when we like or don't like it when he does something. Laughs and acts happily when we give him praise and wears a guilty face when we say 'no'.
- Shows preference for cats over dogs. Squeals every time he sees cats.
- Knows how to blow bubbles in his milk.
- Very curious. Wants to see what inside cabinets.
- Very sociable. Likes it when strangers smile at him (but they have to keep some distance, otherwise stranger anxiety will kick in)
