hi baby,
how are you? it's been 28 weeks today. i think you must be pretty big now as i can feel you rolling, kicking, and doing cartwheels and somersaults inside my tummy. you are very active after i have sugary drinks. i really love that feeling. but i have to be careful about what i eat and drink now as the doctor told me today that the sugar level in my blood was rather high. good news was it wasn't yet gestational diabetes, but pretty close. well..even though it's hard to say no to yummy cheesecake, chocolate and ice cream, i'll try my best to control myself. we want you to be healthy.
you can hear us now, can't you? you seem very responsive to your daddy's voice. he is so excited every time you move while he's talking or reading you stories. he's read lots of things like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Very Busy Spider, Moomin and umm...How to Build a Bicycle Wheel.
you know what, darling. we can't resist the temptation to see you and find out what we are having anymore. i just booked a 3D/4D ultrasound this saturday, 14 February. it's going to be the best Valentine's gift ever. if you are a boy, we'll get you that tiny bodysuit with 'Daddy's Wingman' print. and if you are a girl, mummy will get you that cute polka dot dress i saw in Gap.
see you soon, sweetie.
love,
mom and dad
